Moravian Church

Location:
Bluefields, Nicaragua

Historical Building Types:
Churches

By Mike Karanicolas

This handsome, stately church was rebuilt in 1992 after Hurricane Juana flattened the original, 19th century building.

It seems to be closed more than it's open, and despite several visits Viva's reviewer was unable to gain access. This is a shame, since the interior looked quite nice based on what we could see through the windows...

There's an administration office next door, so you can try there if you want to take a peek inside, but during our review that too was deserted.
