Caribbean Coast and the Islands Things to See and Do

follow us

The Caribbean Coast and Corn Islands have much to offer, most of it what you'd expect: water sports, fishing, nightlife and more. What's occasionally overlooked is the rich cultural heritage of this area: the people are a mixture of native people of the Miskito and other tribes, descendents of African slaves and Nicaraguans who have moved to the area from the rest of the country. The result is a rich culture with fun traditions, great food and memorable festivals. Between dives and fishing trips be sure to get a taste of the unique local culture!
