Snorkeling, Snorkeling

By Mike Karanicolas

Snorkeling is excellent in the waters around Little Corn. Both dive centers and many hotels will rent out a mask and flippers, with the option of taking a boat out a little ways. On these trips you should expect to see nurse sharks, rays and barracudas. Sea turtles also sometimes make an appearance. The trips should run you around $15 per person. A cheaper option is to rent only the equipment. If you head up to George's Caye on the east side of the island, a little south of Derek's Place, the coral comes right up to the beach.
