Getting around

By Mike Karanicolas

Public transportation on Little Corn is nonexistent and unnecessary. Everything is in walking distance. The walk from the dock to the east or north coast takes about fifteen minutes, but it can feel like much longer if it's midday and you're lugging a backpack. Sometimes locals hangout near the dock and will offer to carry your things in a wheelbarrow for a nominal fee. You might want to give this some consideration. Although, a strenuous hike does make jumping into the cool sea that much more satisfying.

If you're staying at the pricier hotels on the north side of the island, some will pick you up from the dock in their own boat. Email to find out if yours offers this service.
