El Tercer Ojo’s darkly bohemian lounge and bar, decorated in Asiatic style, leads out to an attractive patio dining area that seems to be popular in the evening (reservations are welcomed and recommended – there wasn’t a spare table available on one unremarkable Monday night in January).
You can start your meal with tempting tapas-style appetizers (such as black-olive cream or smoked salmon on toasted bread). For mains, the menu then focuses on a variety of pastas, grills, seafood plates, salads and crepes. There are internationally inspired meals (Asian and European accents are discernible), with plenty available for vegetarians. Appealing desserts are also on offer for those who have room after the generous mains.
Happy hour, between 4 and 7 pm daily, means 2 for 1 glasses of fruity and fuerte sangria ; wine (by the bottle and glass), beers, spirits, juices and coffees are also available.
El Tercer Ojo offers free Wi-fi access to customers, and an interesting selection of books for them to browse through should they wish. Artwork and furniture can also be purchased there. It’s definitely an interesting and agreeable place to while away an afternoon, or enjoy an evening drink, as well as to dine on attractively presented and good quality food.
