Fussion Chill-Out Bar Concert & Gallery

Very few bars can boast that their drink servers are also Nica art-world royalty. Fussion Chill-Out Bar Concert & Gallery is Atahuallpa and Dirhiangém Mejia’s latest entrepreneurial and artistic endeavour. The duo are second generation members of one of Nicaragua’s most legendary musical family.

Fussion is a laid back, eclectic lounge with odd gallery pieces set among comfortable seating. Among the stranger decorations: lamps taken out of pastiche cinema, sawed-off oil barrels, ironing boards that serve as coffee tables, old doors hanging by wires from the ceiling and antique sewing machines. The bar also plays a fusion of world music, electronica and local favorites.

During the week, Fussion is a low-key place to unwind; weekend concerts usually attract a crowd of local Nicaraguans who prefer the bar's art feel to that of the discotheques.
