Restaurante Lakun Payaska - Restaurant Managua - Nicaragua

(Mains: C120-280, $6-14) For beer and a bite to eat at a place that has a view of Lago Nicaragua, Restaurant Lakun Payaska at Puerto Salvador Allende is one of your best bets. The restaurant is clean and reasonably priced, with a covered patio overlooking the water. If you don't want to eat outside, the restaurant has a spacious interior that's decorated with fish and an enormous mirror. The menu is varied; chicken, beef, pork, soups and rice dishes —with a nice list of liquors, but the specialty is the seafood, imported daily from Puerto Cabeza. The regularly imported seafood comes as no surprise since Lakun's owner has other establishments (Restaurant Orisffa, Hotel Kabo Payaska and Hotel HHH) in Puerto Cabeza.
