Gran Pacifica

An hour drive from Managua and on a beautiful expanse of beachfront land, Gran Pacifica is one of Nicaragua’s growing seaside communities. At Gran Pacifica, you can either stay for a vacation or, if you become enchanted with the area, buy yourself a piece of property. Fully equipped condos and homes are available for both short and long term stays.

Located on 2,500 acres of land, and containing 3.5 miles of beach, Gran Pacifica is a resort with ample space for surfing. The owners are also constructing an 18-hole golf course that is expected to be ready in late 2009.

If you only want to visit for a day of surfing, you can pay a $5 fee (per person) at the entrance, which can be applied to your restaurant/bar bill. Spending the afternoon at the ocean side restaurant is an option as well. A concierge service (La Vida Nica) is available to help arrange activities and tours.
