Mombacho, Cigar, Tours

Not only does Nicaragua have amazing natural beauty, rich colonial history, extremely warm people, and some of the most well-preserved architecture in all of Central America it is also home to some of the finest cigars in the world.

Located along the coast of Lake Nicaragua you will find Granada, Nicaragua's fifth largest city that is widely known for preserving some of the finest colonial-era architecture in the country. And it is here in the beautiful colonial city of Granada, just off of the picturesque central park, you will find, a true gem, one of the finest cigar factories in the country, Mombacho Cigar factory and retail store.

As you walk through the doorway of this stunning colonial-era building you will be drawn in to the factory’s heart with the intoxicating aroma of unlit cigar tobacco bringing back the glamour, romance, and the best of which life has to offer.

Production at Mombacho Cigars is unique, all cigars are made onsite in an inviting atmosphere that is a fine example of an ultra modern facility that combines old-world knowledge and historical grandeur with modern luxury. And in the spirit of camaraderie, you will be greeted by artisan’s deveining leaves, shaping tobacco, rolling cigars, and packing the finest hand-made cigars Nicaragua has to offer.

At Mombacho we believe a great cigar is the punctuation of a great moment and the two cannot exist without each other. It is this mutual dependency that Mombacho Cigars believes creates the foundation for lasting memories like when you’re standing at the top of a volcano, gazing over the beautiful colonial town below, reflecting on the adventure that has just begun. A beautiful cigar punctuates that moment. That is a Mombacho Moment.

We invite you to visit us and take a tour at our Mombacho Cigar Factory in Granada Nicaragua, where we can create your intimate tasting experience and share a Mombacho moment together.
