There are many small eateries around Jinotega, although many of them lack atmosphere. A couple of nicer restaurants exist, including La Colmena and Borbon, although these don’t come cheap. Pick up fresh produce on the street or in the market, but don’t expect cooking facilities at any of the hotels.
