matilda's surf camp

This is a sweet spot,,I usually live at matilda's for 6-8 months of the year,,when I am there(this winter coming up!) I rent beginner surf boards, boogie, bords(with or without flippers, masks, snorkels, flippers and hawaiian sling spearguns. For next to nothing,,I will take the more adventurous out and around the rocks for a speargunning trip,.right out front of matilda;s!Hunting, lobster, oysters, snapper, grouper, tuna, jack, tigerfish, roosterfish ,bonitos, octopuss, snook, parrotfish, etc.later what food the group has speared/fished will be cooked or sashimied intstintly at the communal kitchen .good times! I also hire local pongas (for a maximum of 8 people,3 housrs, around 20 bucks a head!) to fish the inshore to maybe 4 klicks out,,jack caravelle, spanish mackerel,tuna,dorado...etc.great  spot,,,,,
