Playa Santo Domingo
Most would say that this little strip of land between Ometepe's two volcanoes is the island's best beach. It certainly is the most developed. This is where you'll find the swankiest resort hotels, as well as the only beach umbrellas and volleyball nets to be found on the island. The strip of hotels is accompanied by a few tour operators and several horse-rental shops.
