Rivas Things to See and Do

follow us

Due to the fact it is not a common tourist destination, activities in Rivas are limited. However, there are things to do, and you could easily occupy an entire day, walking around town. Of the main attractions, there are two 18th century churches, the Iglesia de San Pedro and the Iglesia de San Francisco. There is also a small Museum of History and Anthropology and a library that dates back to the early 17th century. Many war heroes and local townspeople are buried in the cemetery, which is several blocks south of the Iglesia de San Francisco.
