Iglesia de San Fernando - Monument Rivas - Nicaragua

The more frequented of the two churches, the Iglesia de San Francisco, is an elevated, beige, well-worn building. Built in 1776, there is also a large statue of a cross, erected on August 30, 1997 in front of the cathedral. Several steps lead up to the large archway, which is the entrance. Unlike the Iglesia de San Pedro, the church is open all day. Four blocks west, one block south of Central Park.
