Walking around Rivas, you will inevitably be confronted by several taxi drivers. Because it is small city, most know where all the hostels, hotels and attractions are located. A taxi ride to anywhere in the city will generally cost about 50 cents. There are very few buses within the city, and most run on irregular, unreliable schedules. Once in Central Park, almost everything is within walking distance. There are also numerous bicycle carriages, which offer a more casual cruise through the city.
