For more adventurous types eager to explore the nature and wildlife of San Juan del Sur, a canopy tour is a great option. The main canopy tour of the area is called Da Flying Frog and is located about 5 minutes from town. It is one of the longest canopy tours in the country, with a zip line of 2.5 km. The area that you fly over has abundant vegetation filled with birds and monkeys. The zip line takes about 45 minutes to complete and costs $30 per person.
