Ojo del Agua thermal spring

Location:
Playa Santo Domingo
Isla de Ometepe, Nicaragua

Spa/Hot Springs

By Mike Karanicolas

Just up from the beach on the road to Altagracia you'll see signs for this place. The Eye of the Water is confusingly described as a cold-water thermal spring. The point is, it's natural, mineral-rich water. Bathing here is supposed to be very good for your skin. The setting feels a little artificial, with concrete walls surrounding the pool, but it's still a pretty place and well worth the $1.10 entrance fee.

Price Description: $1.10
