Located in the heart of San Juan del Sur, El Pozo is a contemporary restaurant that offers a change from the traditional Nicaraguan fare. The chefs use fresh, local ingredients and offer creative dishes such as watermelon salad with goat cheese and basil. Daily fish, pasta and salad specials compliment the tasty menu options. The interior design of the restaurant features an open concept kitchen, bamboo celing and stone slab floors. Dress is classy casual. You can sit at the bar and choose a martini from their extensive list or take a seat at a table to enjoy a great meal. El Pozo is open Wednesday-Monday, 6 p.m.-11 p.m.
