
Aserradores is a small fishing town that features a popular surfing beach. There is a point break just north of the marina, and big bay with a beach break. Waves here can be pretty powerful, and it is not uncommon for people to break their boards (or their faces), so this is not a good spot for beginning surfers. Water currents can be pretty strong here as well, so take precautions even if you're a strong swimmer.
