Monty’s Jiquilillo Surf Camp

Opened in 2007, the Canadian- and Nicaraguan-owned Monty’s Surf Camp is located on the Jiquilillo beach. Guests can rest in shaded hammocks, below a two-storey wooden structure on the property, or sip local beer while eyeing the ocean from the upper deck. Cabins with private bathrooms are available as well as rooms with shared washrooms. The camp offers surf packages, which include board rentals, meals and accommodations. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner together, dining on homemade Nicaraguan fare in the outdoor dining area.
