Another casualty of the 1979 bombardment, these are probably the most impressive, intact ruins in Leon. The most likely reason for this is that they have been fenced-off, preventing people from committing the kind of sacrilegious acts that apparently take place in the Ruinas de San Sebastien. However, the only entrance is located through the front-yard of a family that's taken up residence on the grounds. They don't seem to mind you trundling through, and you don't need to pay them anything, just smile and say “Buenas” as you go.
