Leon could well be called the city of a thousand murals, and these colorful and invariably political expressions are a good thing to look out for while you wander the city. Some of the best ones are located around the Park of Heroes and Martyrs, and along the basketball courts between Parque Central and Iglesia la Merced, but the city is covered with them.
