With its colorful, sculptured facade and immaculately painted interior, this church is second only to Leon's cathedral in terms of beauty and should not be missed. Unfortunately, like many of Leon's churches, it seems to be closed more than it's open (it generally shuts after 10 a.m.). However, if visitors walk through the adjoining park to the back, the administrative office is often open. This connects to the church, and if you smile and ask politely they should let you in for a peek.
