Old Train Station - Historical Building Leon - Nicaragua

Le贸n鈥檚 Old Train Station is still intact, but is difficult to locate since all but the roofline has been obscured by the ever expanding Mercado Santo Barsesna (open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily). The train station has crumbling adobe walls, a rickety wooden roof and swooping iron girders. To find the building, walk behind Iglesia San Juan, through the market and cross the other side of the street. When you come to the section where vendors sell bags of grain and feed, look up and you should be able to spot the narrow roof. Inside, you鈥檒l find barber shops and used clothing stores.
