Museo de Historia de Panama is a small museum featuring paintings, artifacts and models detailing the history of Panama City. The focus is on colonial history. There are also temporary exhibits. It shouldn't take more than a half hour to walk around. Open 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
