Plaza Francia - City Plaza Panama City - Panama

This plaza is part of a monument honoring France's contributions to the construction of the Panama Canal. There's often a delightful breeze blowing through, and from the end of the walkway you can see boats queued up to enter the canal. The plaza is frequented by vendors, as well as indigenous stalls selling native handicrafts. The walkway, constructed over Panama's old city wall, is one of the city's best photo-ops.

Casco Viejo , Panama City, Panama

City Plaza

Here are other activities in and around Casco Viejo that may be of interest: Plaza de la Catedral (AKA Plaza de la Independencia), Plaza Herrera and Plaza Bolívar.
