Plaza Herrera - City Plaza Panama City - Panama

This square of the city was cleared out by the 1781 fire. It was originally used for bull fights before being renamed for one of Panama's independence heroes. The square is lined with beautiful crumbling buildings, including the Edificio la Reformada, which was Panama's first reinforced concrete building and the tallest building in the country when it was constructed in 1920.

Location:
Casco Viejo , Panama City, Panama

City Plaza

Here are other activities in and around Casco Viejo that may be of interest: Plaza Bolívar, Plaza Francia and Plaza de la Catedral (AKA Plaza de la Independencia).
