V!VA User‘s Description
Overview
Located on a strip of land that until 1999 was US-owned territory, this long causeway linking three islands on the entrance to the Panama Canal is being developed at a rapid rate and is a great place to take a relaxing stroll or hire a bike or rollerblades and cruise with the locals. Filling up during the late afternoon it offers good distant views of the city and of the boats waiting to enter the canal and, once the sun goes down there are plenty of bars and restaurants you can safely navigate around for a pleasant evening.
Getting There/Cost
