Getting to and away

By Mike Karanicolas

Panama City is serviced by two airports. Albrook Airport, for domestic flights, is located inside the city. Airport Tocumen, for international flights, is located around 40 kilometers north of the city center.

Inter-city buses run out of the Albrook Bus Terminal. Expect to pay around $1.50 for each hour of the bus ride. There is a direct bus to Bocas del Toro (or rather, to the dock for boats to Bocas) that leaves every night at 8 p.m. There are also regular buses to David, Santiago and Colon, among other destinations.
