This is the cheapest private room in Boca del Toro. Hostel Hansi is a clean, safe place to get some privacy. The hostel has a lot of rules however, and has drawn some sharp reviews as a result. Ten dollar rooms are small and spare, but give you what you need including a comfy bed, fan and insect net.

I loved the nice, clean rooms for $25 per couple! We had our own balcony, nice views onto the streets nearby, lovely wooden walls. The open kitchenette was outside in the front yard and was adequetely equipped. So you could cook all you wanted without bringing the smell inside. The lovely owner made our experience truly memorable. Beata
