This Chinese-run tall pink building does not look much from outside, sitting above a supermarket, but the rooms are some of the best value you can get in town. There are 17 very clean rooms with large-tiled floors, funky decour and en-suite bathroom. Check the state of the water though, as the promised hot water was non-existent. There is no communal area, but with the amount of bars in town that is never a problem.

Hotel Cayo Zapatilla

Very clean compared to the other ones I've been to before. It is located on the main street of Bocas Del Toro, two minutes from the airport.. cheap and convenient. What else can I ask for?

Loved it!

I must say it's an average hotel.... cheap and very CLEAN. The staff was okay, not bad. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice

Loved this hotel, it looks not-so-nice from the outside but it's pretty good inside. You can sleep there at least. Very cheap, perfect for this tough time and this economy. I would recomend this hotel.. come on.. what else do you expect from a hotel that is ONLY $ 30 BUCKS?

Hotel Cayo Zapatilla

We booked rooms for $25 per night for three nights but did not like the rooms. Yes, they are very cheap but apart from undecorated walls, a double bed and one dirty plastic chair the room was empty. Felt more like sleeping at the station than hotel. The worst part was the view from the window onto another barred window just two meters away from us, plus some construction materials lying in between. Use it as an option if you can't find anything else at night, like we did, but don't book for too long.

Nice and Clean

Very clean place, although it looked kind of not-so-good from the outside, it was very nice on the inside of the room. Price was cheap and good customer service. The little supermarket helped us a lot. We didn't have go to all the way down the street to get some groceries. Rooms were more than we expected for $40 a night. AC was working, bathroom was clean and beds were comfy. We have no complains at all.

What a dump!

This place cost myself and friend $40 per night and there was no maid service, no soap, they did not change the towels out, and the lights were so dim a person could not read. The air conditioner worked (minimally) and overall it was a miserable place to stay. Had they not required payment in advance, we would have moved on. It was our mistake to pay for 3 nights. My recommendation is to not stay at this dump.

Cayo Zapitilla

It is right in the center of Boacas. Great value with air and cable for good price.
