This once popular place by the sea tries to keep up with the modern spots but, unfortunately, is struggling. The rooms are comfortable enough but the decor is jaded and the terrace, which looks like it could be good on the fliers, is scarce of chairs and merely serves as a pointer to former glories. Still, it is a reasonable value for a place with a sea-view.

I would definitely recommend NOT staying here. The staff is terrible, there was NO hot water, in fact several times the water didn't even work in the shower nor the sink, the sheets were stained, the kitchen was disgusting and not at all clean for cooking. When we came we were told our room had just been cleaned, but there were cigarette butts in the toilet and my sheets were stained. The people at reception could not speak English besides the owner who apparently is never around to even talk with. They did not offer any tours. There are definitely nicer, cleaner, better places to stay in Bocas, and for less money.
La Brisas Boca
I travel quite a bit and for the price and purpose was excellent. There was 3 of us and the cost was $25 a night a piece, but there was hot water, ac, water taxis, fridge, microwave and a bar that the owner made convenient for hotel residents. only negative was the front desk personnel spoke very little english and considering i was in her country its really not a negative, so communication was a little difficult but not much.
