There are many ways to get involved with V!VA. Here are just a few:

First, you can create an account, and add your profile. That way, everything you write while logged in is credited to you.

Get published!

V!VA are currently accepting submissions (written pieces and photos) for V!VA World: 333 Most Loved Travel Experiences" due to be published in Fall 2008. The V!VA List series is a way for travelers to share travel experiences and have their stories and photographs published in our award-winning books. Unlike traditional guide books which list all of the "must-sees" and "must-dos" of a place, V!VA World is seeking out the most exhilarating individual experiences, written in a way that readers will feel the passion and excitement of a place without ever leaving their living rooms!

Write reviews and rate your favorites

Did you love a place? Will you never return to another? Every destination on our website has space for ratings and reviews. Share your experiences, help out other travelers, and let the world know what you think. You can add new places, or rate and review existing ones. To get these credited to you, you will need to create an account.

Submit your best photos – they could end up on a guidebook cover

We’re always on the look out for great photos that make guidebook cover shots. We have regular photography contests. Currently we’re looking for cover photos for our Argentina and Colombia guidebooks. Send us your photos for these, to: editors(at)remove-this.vivatravelguides.com, or check out our photo competition page.

Alternatively, you can upload your photos for consideration for inclusion in our forthcoming V!VA World book.

Freelance writing opportunities

For budding or talented writers, we have opportunities to write about Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia.
