As to be expected with any major city, there is always something to see or do in Toronto on any budget. Due to its wealth of diversity, tourists will have the opportunity to take in a cultural event, festival or celebration at any time of year. Summer in the city is particularly lovely, and it’s also the season for Pride Week and Caribana. The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) are worth a visit during any month. Likewise, professional sporting events and concerts at the Rogers Centre (formerly known as the SkyDome) and the Air Canada Centre (ACC) can be attended throughout the year, although tickets generally aren’t cheap. If money is an issue, Harbourfront Centre is a great option. Located downtown on the lake, Harbourfront often has free or inexpensive concerts and classes of various types.
