Irie Food Joint

Irie Food Joint is a Caribbean restaurant downtown on Toronto’s trendy Queen Street West (near Bathurst).

The restaurant welcomes diners by offering great service and delectable meals. In addition to classic favorites like ackee, steamed red snapper and jerk chicken, you’ll also find atypical “Caribbean” dishes like the coconut fettuccini (fettuccini and jerk infused chicken smothered in a tomato-coconut cream sauce). Some dishes also have clever names like Curry Chicken Communista (a sly shout out to Cuba, perhaps) and Rasta Pasta (for the vegan crowd).

Irie Food Joint seats about 50 people, plus 12 at the bar. A relaxed time with a small group of friends on the back patio is a lovely way to spend a warm, summer evening.
