Surfing
In Máncora, surfing is practiced by men and women, young and old, like a religion. There are reliable swells at almost all times of the year and the beaches are blessed with the same generally warm waters as Ecuador's Galapágos Islands. There are several breaks, enough to satisfy surfers of all abilities. Surf camp and lessons are available on many of Máncora's beaches for beginners.
