bar, restaurant, food

Argentines and tourists are sure to spill out of the spacious yet cozy Palermo bar/restaurant on any given night. With two levels, comfortable couches, warm brick walls, and unmistakable dim-red lighting, Sugar’s atmosphere appeals to both the hip and relaxed. The staff is as friendly as the regulars are loyal. Boasting a new kitchen and two HD TVs, Sugar satisfies sports fans and trendsetters alike. Not to mention the best happy hour in town. From 7pm to midnight, well drinks, wine, and beer are only eight pesos (that’s right- eight pesos).

The menu of chicken wings and burgers may not make Sugar the go-to spot for an Argentine meal. But if you’re feeling a little homesick, it’s a great place to grab a quick bite with some friends and enjoy some comfort food.

Be warned: with drinks so cheap, it’s tempting to stick around for happy hour.
