Safety

By Lorena Fernández

With 16 police stations throughout the city, La Plata enjoys a comfortable level of security. Taxi drivers have been known to get robbed, so you may encounter cabs with security cameras. There is, however, nothing particular about safety in La Plata that you wouldn’t normally concern yourself with in any other city. Check tourist information from the municipality before you go and use common sense, after all, this is a fairly big town.
