The Reserva Forestral Quinta Cigordia, at the end of street 9 de Julio, is locally referred to as ‘home of the homeless.’ Care should be taken if planning to visit this area without a companion. Guided explorations are an option for those wishing to explore.
Around the Plaza and on main streets thoroughfares remain bright at night. If straying away from the main streets however, areas are dimly lit and sparsely populated. The riverside is particularly deserted at night and isn’t recommended as a place to wander solo.
