Sierra de los Padres
Up in the hills, just 17 km East of the city, is an exclusive neighborhood surrounded by forest and farmland. The area was developed after the installation of the golf course and since become a popular area for those looking to breathe a little more nature into their trip. Hiking, horseback riding and paragliding are some of the afternoon activities available. There are tour companies near the carousel in Plaza Colon that arrange excursions to the area. Bus 717 leaves from Garay and Sarmiento near the bus terminal.
