La Pergola Hostel

For the hostel connoisseur, seeking a mellow atmosphere and good people, it is worth making a short trip to the coast just to hang out at La Pergola. Opened in December 2007 by young husband and wife team Eduardo and Florencia, the 1920s era home has been deemed a historical cultural patrimony and has much of the original wood and glass accents. All the rooms are dormitory style and have meticulously cared for shared bathrooms. Guests can watch a DVD next to the original brick fireplace or play foosball downstairs in the rumpus room. Open all year.
