Tourist information centers can be found next door to the casino and at the intersection of San Luis and Belgrano.

Banks

Mar del Plata is a major city and well served by major banks. There are banks scattered throughout the city. ATMs can be difficult to find in areas outside of the center. There is a cash machine between the Casino and the main tourist information office. There is also one at the main bus terminal.

Communication

There are several post offices. One very convenient location is found across the street from the bus terminal at Sarmiento 2701 at the intersection of Rawson. The main office is at Luro 2640 at cornr of Santiago del Estero. In the La Perla neighborhood at Hippolito Yrigoyen 1333 is a third.

Internet cafes and laundry mats are abundant and can be found throughout the city. WIFI zones are offered by some of the trendier restaurants but are by no means as omnipresent as in Buenos Aires. The city is also serviced by a number of camera shops for the shutterbugs. In the center, a full service camera shops can be found at Belgrano and Barolome Mitre.
