During high season buses and trains are running all day and night in and out of Pinamar to Buenos Aires. Despite the volume of transportation it can still be tricky to get a ticket for specific dates on the spur of the moment. Book tickets 2-4 days in advance. Roundtrip tickets are a bit cheaper and guarantee a ride home when the weekend ends and everyone needs a ride home.
Both the bus station (Jason 2250, Tel.# 02254403500) and the train station (Ruta 74 km. 4, Tel. # 02254497973) are a bit out of town and sharing a cab into the center to get your bearings is a good option. If you find yourself in town without a ticket home, check out Viajes Pinamar (Bunge 799) across from the tourism office to pick up tickets from a number of different bus lines.
