Santa Rosa is a busy transport hub. Numerous long distance bus companies operate frequent services from here to every corner of the country. The bus terminal is located at San Martin and Luro, seven blocks east of Plaza San Martin. To Buenos Aires, the journey is 8 hrs and $17. If you’re only stopping in Santa Rosa long enough to catch the next bus, the terminal is surrounded by all necessary amenities. Opposite from the terminal is a 24hr ATM and locutorio, postal services and a few good restaurants, which remain open until late.
It’s possible to leave bags at the Informes (information office), which operates a limited number of lockers in the terminal. If the terminal lockers are full, the lovely people in the city tourist office may let you leave luggage with them, if you ask nicely.
