In the heart of Gaucho country, Santa Rosa and the smaller surrounding towns host many folklore festivals throughout the year. Summer is a particularly busy season festival-wise, small regional fairs are held during many weekends throughout January and February. The annual calendar is full of diverse celebrations that include: the National Jazz Festival in March, the town’s anniversary in April and a theater festival in October. Dates of these change yearly.
