Casa Chango is the perfect example of budget accommodations going the extra mile. Once a family-run factory, the ranch-style building is now a colorful, friendly place to sleep—and so much more. Rooms are minimalist but clean and comfortable, and dorms have themes (white, blue, graffiti, etc.). But the rest of the grounds mean your room is the last place you'll want to be. Complete with bar, patio, parilla, and tourism planning, Chango is the type of place where guests are not just guests but friends. Chango himself knows almost everyone by name, and adds decoration with his favorite artwork. Plus, in case cheap isn't cheap enough, he gives you the option to camp in the garden for half the price!
