Climate & Geography
January is a popular time to visit Tandil, not least for Boca Juniors who complete their pre-season training here every year. Several folkloric festivals take place both within the town and in surrounding villages almost every weekend during the summer. Check www.cybertandil.com.ar/noticias for news of what’s happening. There's also a popular carnaval in February, and during Easter week, an ampitheater at the foot of Parque Independencia hosts a renowned community theater event – book accommodation ahead.
