This Language School teaches:
Spanish

By Maryann Ullmann

Practicando Español Haciendo Teatro is a fun, creative course for foreigners of all Spanish levels to practice speaking and thinking on their feet. Improvisational theater games and exercises boost confidence and encourage silliness in order to loosen up inhibitions. Lucia and Fernando, the course instructors, have a contagious passion for both theater and teaching, and create an encouraging and challenging environment. Classes also frequently go out to dinner and organize other social activities.

A minimum basic level of Spanish is required, and more advanced classes are also available. No previous theater experience necessary. Both intensive and weekly classes are offered.

Getting There: Please contact us for times and exact address. The classes are in a theater studio in an old colonial house in Abasto near the house of famous tango singer Carlos Gardel.

By Subway: Take the B Line and get off at the station “Carlos Gardel.”
