In an old house with no sign and virtually no exterior lighting, La Reina Kunti can be a bit hard to find, so go with the address in hand. Inside, eclectic furnishings, ranging from antiques chests surrounded by throw pillows to high tables with tree-trunk benches, set the relaxed tone to enjoy vegetarian Indian cuisine. For the first time, try the platter of samples of the various dishes that includes koftas, kachoris, and pakoras, then choose your favorites for future visits. The wine list is limited, but the award-winning Fin del Mundo wines are available, and not much more is needed. Relatively small and all the rage, be sure to make reservations before going, and don't be bothered if they have to kick a cat off your table before seating you.
