Las Cañitas Overview

+ Add a Photo

By Caroline Bennett

Though really part of Palermo and not exactly a neighborhood in its own right, the posh residential area of Las Cañitas is worth a separate mention if not just for the ever-growing selection of some of the cites top restaurants. Once an area left to wild sugarcane crops, today well-pruned trees line mostly residential streets surrounding the polo grounds and racecourse. The Cañitas Creativa street fair livens the place up on Friday and Saturday evenings around 6pm, but popular restaurants fill up fast any night of the week.
